Hi there, my name is Karen, I'm a Brit although I work today for Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Information Security Consultant in Sweden. Before H-P I have worked some years for Novell and CERN in Switzerland and France since moving from the UK.
I am particularly excited by the subject area of identity and privacy after over 10 years of focus in this area, and with almost 20 years experience in IT. There is loads I could share, but I guess all you need to know for the purpose of this public forum is that I have had my more 'geeky' years, and today although evolved into something more -whatever this is ;-) - have still problems to keep away from my laptop in the expectation that something else out there has happened that could impact how we manage our identity today and potential implications to our personal privacy for tomorrow!
I love formulising otherwise fluffy concepts and problems to make them into something concrete, and this is what makes the space of identity and privacy so exciting. There is so much work to be done, and because of this there so much going on.
